| I am green. I am a space cadet. I like to be yellow sometimes but in the heart I am still green. I am a cat. I am the imagination in the eyes of the child. I am lost. I am found. I am the sound when silence speaks. I am a page in the book you were reading. I am saturday. I am coming. I am gone. I am covered up from head to toe in layers of clothing in the winter country with a bright muffler, hair let down & glasses and I draw you as you pass me by. I am the one who sits in the wooden cafe looking at people pass by and drinking chai as he sits in front of me writing poetry. I am smiling because life is perfect in these lines. I am the beautiful rain. What I am, I am. I am me. |
